HOW TO PERFECT BLOCK IN KINGDOM COME DELIVERANCE

Recommended Videos

Kingdom Come Deliverance’s combat mechanics are deeply nuanced and require plenty of practice to master. While at its core, this is an RPG experience that players can rely on leveling-up their character to overcome enemies, you’re still going to need to learn and understand its systems to win encounters. Timing and patience are key factors, but managing your stamina is absolutely imperative. Every swipe and block costs you stamina, and when that runs out, you’ll quickly be overcome. Thankfully, there’s a way to negate the effects of stamina depletion while blocking incoming attacks thanks to the perfect block, which is going to make your life much easier in Kingdom Come Deliverance.

Mastering the perfect block might be the single most important factor in Kingdom Come Deliverance’s sword combat. Not only does executing one cost you zero stamina, it also turns defense into attack by boosting your adrenaline and giving you a chance to counter-attack.

To perform a perfect block, wait until your enemy is just about to strike. As he does, watch for the green shield icon to pop-up, and when it does, press L1 (PS4), LB (Xbox One), Q (PC) right away. If you time it right, you’ll block the incoming attack and then have a chance to attack yourself.

That’s what you need to know to pull off a perfect block in Kingdom Come Deliverance. For more information and guides on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
