Time Your Special Abilities

Injustice 2 Mobile: Tips and Tricks for Beginners

If you’ve played any kind of Injustice game before, you’ll know just how much a special ability can turn the tide of a fight. However, you can’t just immediately activate one as soon as it’s ready, you’ll need to time some specials to ensure your opponent doesn’t avoid it. Injustice 2 Mobile is no different, and while it’s certainly tempting to use your special abilities as soon as they become available, you really should bide your time.

Wait until your opponent is in a perfect position, and perhaps even caught off-guard following a combo you just landed. When everything is lined up, activate your special and watch your opponent’s health bar take some serious hits.

Ranged Attacks Are Your Friend

Injustice 2 Mobile: Tips and Tricks for Beginners

Well, they’re not when your opponent is using them against you, but you get the idea. If you’re ever finding yourself getting outdone in close quarters combat, don’t be afraid to dash back out of danger and tap the screen to fire off some ranged attacks. Sure, these might not do much, but they’re a handy way to build your combo meter, and give yourself a breather before jumping back into the fray.

Plus, all that chip damage adds up. If you’re really struggling to beat an opponent and want to cheese it a little, you can always just keep dashing back and spamming the ranged attack button. Sure, it’s not fun, but sometimes, these things have to be done.

Don’t Forget to Block and Evade

Injustice 2 Mobile: Tips and Tricks for Beginners

When you’re reeling off a slick combo on your opponent in Injustice 2 Mobile it can be easy to forget about that Block button on the left of your screen. By holding the button down, you’ll severely limit the amount of damage that your opponent’s attacks deal. As such, you’ll want to make sure that as soon as the momentum of the fight begins to turn in your opponent’s favor, you make use of Block.

When you’re running particularly low on health, though, you’ll want to make use of your ability to evade quickly out of harm’s way. By swiping left on the screen your character will dash back out of the fray, leaving some space between you and your opponent. By jumping in, landing a few blows and evading back out, you’ll have a far better chance of surviving on a thin sliver of health than you would by simply blocking.

In summary, defense is just as important as offense.

Upgrade and Unlock New Abilities

Injustice 2 Mobile: Tips and Tricks for Beginners

As you play more and more of Injustice 2 Mobile, you’ll level up your different heroes, unlocking new abilities to use in battle in the process. While these are definitely worth spending your Credits on, you’ll also want to upgrade any of your favored existing abilities if you’re given the option to.

To access this, simply select the Roster menu in Injustice 2 Mobile and select the character of your choice. Once you’ve done this, tap on Abilities on the right side of the screen. You’ll now be given a list of different abilities, what they do, and how much they cost to unlock. Some will only be unlocked once you’ve leveled your character up enough, but you should be able to upgrade your existing abilities right near the start as long as you have the necessary Credits.

With new and upgraded abilities, your heroes will be able to deal even more damage to anyone who stands in their way.
