Is Injustice 2 Coming to Nintendo Switch?

With NetherRealm’s Injustice 2 less than a week away, players will be eager to jump into the frantic fighting action. While the game is confirmed to be releasing on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this month, players may be wondering if Ed Boon’s upcoming title could hit the Nintendo Switch, too.

Well, there’s some good and bad news regarding an Injustice 2 appearance on Nintendo Switch. Currently, there’s been no official that the game will come to the Switch, and with the release date less than a week away, it’s highly unlikely a Switch version will release this month.

However, that doesn’t mean there’s no chance that it could happen. Back in March, Ed Boon (Creative Director over at NetherRealm) began tweeting about Nintendo’s hybrid system. At first, it all seemed rather innocent.

However, it soon looked like there was a little more to it than Ed’s Switch color preferences.

Which then turned into a quick poll to see how Switch owners are primarily using their systems.

Finally, Ed celebrated St. Patricks Day, but in a rather strange way. After all, what does the Nintendo Switch have to do with the Irish holiday?

While this should not be deemed as confirmation that Injustice 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch, it’s definitely fueling the speculation. Here’s hoping an official confirmation is on the way soon. As soon as anything is announced, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
