Developed by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force, Age of Calamity serves as a prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and follows the story of the four champions and their Divine Beasts during the fight against the Guardians and Calamity Ganon. It’s not an open-world exploration RPG like Breath of the Wild was, and instead uses the Warriors-style combat system and mission selection structure. Here’s how to heal and restore health in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity.
Heal and Restore Health in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity
The early missions in Age of Calamity aren’t too difficult but as you progress further into the game, things are going to get harder and you may find yourself in need of some emergency healing.
Thankfully, restoring your health in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity isn’t too complicated, and it’s actually fairly easy to do so.
All you have to do is hold down the L button, then press down on the d-pad to consume an apple to restore all your hearts.
Of course, you don’t have a finite source of apples, and if you take a look at the apple icon while holding down L, you’ll find a bar just below it that lets you know how much healing you have left.
As you’re exploring the map and fighting your way through hundreds of enemies, though, make sure to break any wooden crates you come across.
These may drop materials and apples, and some enemies can potentially drop apples as well.
You can pick those up to help refill the bar and you’ll be able to heal up again later on if you take too much damage and need some restoration.
That’s all you need to know about how to heal and restore your health in Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
