It is important to note that Trials of Osiris is a competitive PVP Game mode. While you can play by yourself, it’s highly recommend you gather your friends or like-minded individuals to best assist you in this game mode.

How to get Forgiveness in Destiny 2

  1. Gather your team and prepare to fight

    Gather your fire team or play yourself, and hop into the Trials of Osiris game mode. Like Iron Banner, you earn reputation points by getting kills and completing matches. Leaving early could eventually result in a loss of points or even a temporary ban if you do so too often. Destiny 2

  2. Rank-up Rewards

    As all other reputation systems in Destiny 2 have displayed, ranking up means more loot for you. As you win matches and secure kills in Trials of Osiris, eventually, you’ll increase your Trials Rank with Saint-14. Upon ranking up, he’ll have a shiny new Engram for you to claim back at the Tower Hanger.

  3. Buy your own copy.

    Similarly to Lord Saladin and Iron Banner, upon ranking up and earning a Trials Engram, you can then proceed to buy your very own copy of Forgiveness. However, these purchases are quite expensive, so keep in mind how much you’re spending.

What Is the God Roll for Forgiveness in Destiny 2?

God Rolls. All Destiny 2 players love to push the limits with their weapons. Forgiveness is in a unique position where it’s God Roll is both great for PVE and PVP content. When hunting for this gun, the perks you should be looking for is Demolitionist and Rapid Hit.

Demolitionist states, “Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves.” Rapid Hit grants increased stability and reload speed for the gun after landing multiple precision hits in a row. With these perks on the same weapon, both pve and pvp activities become far easier as more more grenades are always better, no matter what game mode you play!

Is Forgiveness The Best Sidearm In Destiny 2?

It’s hard to call a specific weapon “the best” in an everyday context in Destiny 2. Each weapon fills a particular role within the game. For example, some guns excel in PVE content rather than PVP. Forgiveness is a weapon made for PVP content. However, while it is a very good Sidearm to use in most situations, it isn’t considered “the best”. To put it bluntly, it’s a safer bet to say it’s on par with other top tier Sidearms in the game, such as Trespasser or Peacebond.
