Horizon Zero Dawn: How to Level Up Fast

How to Level Up Fast – Horizon Zero Dawn

Recommended Videos

Like in most RPGs, players will be able to level up Aloy in Horizon Zero Dawn. As you make your way through the game, you’ll earn EXP which, when certain milestones are hit, will level her up. Aloy’s level will determine which quests and machines you take on. If you’re level 7, we don’t advise trying to take on a level 14 quest, for example. Therefore, you’ll likely want to know how to level up fast in Horizon Zero Dawn. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

As you may have noticed if you’ve played through a bit of Horizon Zero Dawn already, one way to level up fast is to simply complete quests. Main quests will often give you big chunks of EXP to help you level up fast, however, that doesn’t mean you should focus solely on them. Horizon Zero Dawn has a number of other quests and missions for you to complete. From its Corrupted Zones that need clearing, to substantial Side Missions, to smaller Errands. Completing these will always net you some EXP, and Errands especially can be particularly lucrative. If you’ve hit a dead end with the main quests and need to level up fast, browse through what other activities you can complete.

It’s also worth noting that if you’re in dire need of EXP and need to level up fast, you should be taking on every single machine you see in Horizon Zero Dawn. From a Watcher to the tougher Sawtooth, you’ll get a good chunk of EXP for them all. Take one out undetected or with an element such as ice or electricity, and you’ll get even more EXP, too.

Unfortunately, that’s all you can do to level up fast. For more tips, tricks, and guides for the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
