Developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox Software, Godfall is a brand new looter-slasher game that has just been released for the PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. It follows a fairly familiar structure where players will first have to clear a story campaign before reaching end game content, which is where you can start farming for rare resources to improve your gear even further. Getting the Orb of Oblivion in Godfall
The Orb of Oblivion is an end game material that you’ll only be able to obtain after clearing the story campaign.
After you’ve beaten the story, you’ll unlock new missions called Dreamstones, which are basically end game quests that further the story a little more, and they’ll also reward you with better materials and loot to help you out in the final stretch of the journey.
You can access the Dreamstone missions from your mission map, and essentially, you’ll want to farm these missions for a chance at getting more Orbs of Oblivion.
You’ll need a total of five of them, including 50 Valorplate Cores, to craft the final Valorplate available in the game: the Hinterclaw. This is the wolf-themed Valorplate that’s been teased in the game’s trailers, and it specializes in increasing your critical hit rates.
It also has an Archon Fury ability that allows you to summon three spirit warriors to aid you in battle, which makes it one of the most powerful Valorplates in the game. Once you get all the required materials, you’ll be able to craft the Valorplate back in the sanctum.
