Players are getting their first taste of Gear of War 4’s multiplayer and reacquainting themselves with the mayhem. One thing that can be particularly useful to remember or learn is the ability to get back up on your own when you’ve been downed. Here’s how to do it so you can keep on with the fight.
When you’ve come under too much fire out in the battlefield of Gears of War 4, the famous crimson gear will begin to fill up symbolizing you’re taking damage. If you’re sustain too much damage, you’ll find yourself dropping to your knees and entering the ‘Down But Not Out’ phase.
When you find yourself downed and crawling around on the floor, you should see a little heart beat monitor symbol at the bottom of your screen next to the A button. All you have to do is simply mash the A button to get up quicker. You’ll see your character slowly but surely making their way back onto their feet. Before you know it, you’ll be back in the action with everyone else, chainsaw at the ready.
