Forza Horizon 5 has finally arrived, bringing with it the biggest and best map in an open-world racing game ever. With a ton of content crammed onto it, over 500 cars on the roster, and cutting-edge visuals, there’s plenty to keep you drifting and danger sign jumping for hours on end. As such, you may be wondering what the deal is with Forza Horizon 5 crossplay, so you know exactly what the deal is with your progression carrying over from one platform to another.
Is Forza Horizon 5 Crossplay Compatible?
Yes, Forza Horizon 5 features cross-platform play features which are enabled by default on both Xbox consoles and PC. This means that those playing on an Xbox One console can play with those on Xbox Series X and even those playing on both Microsoft Store PC versions and those who purchased the game on Steam.
Is There Cross-Save Support?
Cross-save support basically means that your progress on an Xbox One would carry over to an Xbox Series X|S console, Cloud Gaming through Game Pass, or on PC. For the most part, cross-save support is present in Forza Horizon 5.
The only exception to this rule is for those PC players who are playing through Steam. Steam players do not have cross-save support on their version of the game. Only Microsoft Store versions of the game will feature cross-save support with Xbox consoles. All Xbox console versions are also compatible.
