Can You Fix Can’t Play Fortnite on Nintendo Switch Issue?

Recommended Videos

Yesterday, Fortnite conquered yet another platform when it released on Nintendo Switch. Problem is, a number of PS4 players have found that they’re unable to log in to their Epic Games account on the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Of course, plenty of players are eager to know if there’s a fix to the issue.

Unfortunately, there’s not a true fix for being unable to play Fortnite on your Switch with your PS4 account. While this does mean you won’t have access to your Battle Pass, cosmetics, skins, and general progress on the Nintendo Switch version of Fortnite, it is still possible to play the game on the system.

Instead of signing in with your Epic Games account affiliated with your PS4 account, you can set up an entirely new account, or just play without one whatsoever. It’s not ideal, and the beauty of playing the game on Nintendo Switch if you’re an Xbox One or PC player is that you can continue to grind out those Battle Pass tiers even when you’re on the move. For now, the onus is on Sony to get its act together regarding cross-play.

That’s all you need to know regarding whether or not you can fix not being able to play Fortnite on the Switch. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
