Everything You Need to Know About Builder Pro in Fortnite Battle Royale

A while back, Epic Games introduced a Combat Pro configuration to help players act as rapidly as they needed to when in a battle. Today, we’ve received another new configuration in the form of Builder Pro. Here’s everything you need to know about the new mode to get the most out of it.

First off, let’s give you a quick breakdown of what Builder Pro does in Fortnite Battle Royale. As the name suggests, it’s an optimized configuration for helping you build and place tiles quickly. Each of the different default tiles you can select will be assigned to one of the buttons on your controllers. From there, the first press of a button will have you switch to that mapped piece, and every press of that button after will see you build that piece wherever the outline currently is.

If you want to switch materials while in Builder Pro in Fortnite Battle Royale, you simply use left on the d-pad.

In order to change to the Builder Pro controller configuration, press the Options button on your Xbox One or PS4 controller and then select the little cog icon to the right of Epic Friends. From here, use RB or R1 to tab all the way over to Controller, and then select the Builder Pro option from the slider.

That’s all you need to know about the new controller configuration in Fortnite Battle Royale. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
