How to Heal in Forager
Forager is a deep survival adventure game that features a lot for you to keep an eye on. Whether that be things you’re crafting or building, or the status of your own character. Here’s everything you need to know about how to heal in Forager.
How Health Is Consumed
In the top left corner of the screen, you’ll see your hunger/energy and health indicators, which are shown by a bar and some hearts respectively. Rather than losing health over time, your hunger bar depletes by moving, building, or anything else movement based.
It’s only when your hunger bar becomes empty that you begin to lose health and you need to heal. Once your hunger bar is completely empty, it will refill by 25% and use one of your available hearts, with you dying if you’ve run out of hearts.
How to Refill Your Hunger Bar & Get More Hearts in Forager
You get more energy by consuming food, and cooked food also gets you some health back. Every food item refills your hunger meter a different amount, with things like berries only doing so slightly and full meals doing so a lot more
Some food items can be found easily out in the wild and consumed straight away while others have to be cooked using a Furnace or something else to heal you as much as possible.
If you’ve run out of hearts, you’re going to want to use Healing Potions rather than relying on food to heal your health. Healing Potions can be crafted using the Cauldron at the Wizard’s Tower. They refill your hearts and your energy/hunger meter. You will need the following ingredients though.
- 10x Flower
- 10x Citrus
- 10x Wheat
- 5x Bottled Torchbug
