How to Purchase and Play DLC in Fire Emblem Echoes

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is packed with plenty of content for you to play through, including dungeons, a lengthy main story, and grindable battles. If you’re looking for even more, however, Fire Emblem Echoes has plenty of DLC on the way which will feature new dungeons, battles with unique rewards like new items or money, and even a few additions to the story. Purchasing and accessing DLC in Fire Emblem Echoes can be a little confusing, so here’s how to do it. First off, you’ll need to be on the world map in one of your saves, as you can’t purchase add-ons from the main menu. Once there, hit the menu button and go to “Connect.” Now go to “Manage DLC,” and you’ll be given two menu options. Go to purchase and you’ll be directed to a screen that shows all available add-ons. Once you’ve bought what you want, just head back to the previous screen and select “Play DLC.” All the packs in the game are grouped here and selecting one takes you to what is essentially a separate chapter for the add-on.
