How to Dash & Run Faster in Fire Emblem Echoes

Recommended Videos

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia has a few major differences from other Fire Emblem games, one of which is the inclusion of fully-explorable 3D dungeons. You’ll have full control over your character in these areas, as you search for items and treasure, run into dangerous enemies, and find a path forward. As such, you’ll want to dash so you can move as quickly as possible, both to avoid enemies and expedite your time within dungeons.

Fortunately, it’s incredibly easy to dash and run faster in Fire Emblem Echoes. When in a dungeon, you can hold down the Y or B button to run through the area. It’s important to note, however, that your character mostly follows a straight path, and you have little control over turning them. This means that you’ll want to be careful when you use dash around enemies, as you can easily back yourself into a corner you can’t run from.

Use the dash ability, as well as your preemptive attack to make your way through each dungeon in Fire Emblem Echoes swiftly.
