Possibly one of the most surprising announcements from Square Enix, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles has finally been brought back to life with a remastered edition on the Nintendo Switch. This version of the game features online multiplayer, upgraded visuals and audio, and is definitely a nice treat for longtime fans. Here’s how to save your game in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.
Saving Your Game in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
The remastered version of the game features a very handy auto-save and checkpoint system that kicks in pretty much whenever you’ve done something major in the game. For instance, whenever you leave or enter a dungeon, or re-enter the world map, the game should automatically record your progress.
If you want to be safe, you can also manually record your progress before quitting. To do this, bring up the menu by pressing the B button, then choose the Save/Load option. From here, you can select a save slot to record your progress in. You can also check the auto-save data in the topmost slot to see when you last had a checkpoint.
Once the game has finished saving, you can safely quit out of the game entirely. Whenever you boot it up next, simply select the Load option, then choose the slot that you want to continue from. It’s as simple as that.
Whenever you choose the Save/Load option from the menu, you can also opt to load another file even while you’re in the game, just in case you need to jump back to a previous file. Do be warned, however, that there are only four slots available to you. So while it is advisable to make multiple save files in the game, you’ll also want to space them out and use them wisely.
That’s all you need to know about how to save your game in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
