How to Beat Helicopters Easily in Far Cry 5
Far Cry 5 transports the series from tropical jungles and Himalayan mountains to the lush, rolling hills of Hope County, Montana. There are quite a few changes to gameplay coming too, and the main objective of the game revolves around gaining Resistance Points in each area. When you’ve gained enough, you’ll be ready to confront what is essentially the boss of each area.
Of course, while you’re out and about exploring and wracking up points, there’s plenty of enemies and threats that will come your way. By far one of the most annoying things that will plague you are helicopters. These can appear around the world, and if a helicopter spots you, it won’t leave you alone until one of the two of you are dead. If you want to keep exploring in peace, you’ll need to take it down. There are a few different ways to do this.
First, you can use an RPG to blow a helicopter out of the sky. You should find a few of these scattered around at enemy camps or weapon stashes. If you’re confident in your sniping skills, you can also snipe the helicopter’s pilot directly for a one-hit kill. Finally, as running around on foot can be tedious anyway, you might want to grab a helicopter of your own. If you bring a couple of Guns for Hire or a co-op partner, then any helicopters you run into shouldn’t pose much of a threat at all.
