Here’s everything you need to know about how to kick players in Fallout 76.

For the first time in Fallout history, Bethesda’s newest title, Fallout 76, has multiplayer. Not only does it have multiplayer, but it isn’t some tacked-on side content — the game is only multiplayer. In fact, it’s built around it.

What this means is you won’t be the only player exploring the world of Fallout, which this time, takes place in West Virginia. Because of that, there’s a good chance people will party up with you and an even better chance that eventually, someone in your party will annoy you to no end. The only solution? Kick them.

Ideally, you never have to kick players in Fallout 76 and the people that you join up with are the best teammates anyone could ask for. But, you’re here and that means you’re specifically looking for instructions that explain how to kick someone from you party.

As nice as it’d be, you unfortunately cannot kick players outright from your world. If they’re there, they’re there. You can however remove their ability to hang out in your party. To do so, you first need to get to the Social menu.

To get to the social menu, press the Options or Menu button. Once there, press R1 or RB. This will take you to the Social menu. Once here, you should see a breakdown of your friends, your party, and players exploring the same West Virginia as you.

Find the player you want to remove from your party in the Party tab, turn on the Halloween (Michael Myers) theme song and slash that player’s hopes and dreams of ever becoming friends with you. To do that, select the name of the player you’re looking to kick and select the Kick Player option.

Now, with that person out of your way, and hopefully out of earshot in the world, you’re free to explore the Appalachia region as you wish, free of annoying party members. You won’t, however, be free of danger as that player might decide to retaliate by going for the kill. This isn’t guaranteed, but it is a possibility, so watch your back after kicking someone.

That’s everything you need to know about how to kick players in Fallout 76.For more information about Fallout 76, be sure to check out our Fallout 76 Guide Wiki.
