Recommended Videos

Getting to grips with everything in Dragon Ball Legends can be daunting for a first-time player, what with all of the heroes and techniques on offer. Then you have multiple kinds of abilities to consider – and at that point, you may decide that it’s just as easy to mash any button frantically in the hopes that something good will happen.

Fear not, for Z Abilities are easy to use. So easy, in fact, that you won’t have to do anything, because they are passive, and active at all times. Once you have earned 700 shards for a character, you will unlock their Z Ability, and the benefits will be present as long as they remain in your party. If you get more shards, you can level up that character’s Z Ability even further to make it stronger.

Learning which Z Ability works best in which scenario can mean the difference between victory and defeat, so familiarize yourself with them early on!
