The Doom beta is now live and players are getting a taste of the chaos that they can expect to jump into when the full game releases next month. The beta allows players to check out two multiplayer modes, both of which feature the ability to turn into a Demon.
There will be a number of demons to choose from when the full version of Doom releases, but in the multiplayer beta, players can turn into the Revenant Demon. This guy has a jetpack to be able to dash around quickly, and two rocket launchers which allow him to deal out some serious damage. He also has a pretty big health bar so you can take a fair bit of damage before your time as the powerful monster ends. Turning into a Demon can be crucial in turning the tide of the battle in your favor, or just sealing your victory. So without further ado, let’s check out how you turn into a Demon in Doom.
Turning into a Demon is actually pretty simple. In a number of the game modes that will be included in the full game, Demon Runes will appear throughout. Everyone will be alerted when the Demon Rune is about five seconds away from appearing on the map and its location will be marked by a pointer on your screen. At this point, you want to start making your way to it to give you the best possible chance. A lot of people are going to be trying to get the rune so you won’t wanna hang around the area for too long. Simply run over to where the Demon Rune is marked and step into the pentagram symbol. A message will then display on your screen to let you know how to take advantage of the powerful character.
That’s all there is to it, just make sure you reach the rune before your enemy, otherwise you’re probably gonna have a bad time.
