How to Limit Break and What it Does in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia

Recommended Videos

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is the latest mobile spin-off game featuring iconic heroes and villains from the series. Unlike its PS4 counterpart, this game goes for the more traditional JRPG experience with turn-based combat. The limit break mechanic also returns in this game, although it works slightly different this time around.

Instead of acting like an ultimate ability, the limit break actually affects items. Opera Omnia allows you to enhance your weapons and armor by using unwanted equipment as materials to level it up. If you enhance a weapon or armor using the exact same piece of equipment, you will limit break your item.

By using this method, you can enhance the max level or your equipment. Moreover, limit breaking an item three times will bump up its rarity tier or even provide some nifty passive bonuses to the character using the weapon or armor. Effectively using this feature is one way to strengthen your units and earn better items. It also acts as a great way to manage your items instead of merely throwing them away.
