How Long Dissidia Final Fantasy NT’s Story Is

Recommended Videos

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is the latest installment in the fighting game spin-off series that brings iconic heroes and villains together for epic fights. Players can choose from fan-favorite characters like Cloud, Lightning, Sephiroth, and Noctis as they duke it out in intense 3v3 fights.

Unlike the two previous games, the PS4 title doesn’t actually have a traditional story mode. There are no worlds to explore, nor are there any tiled boards to roam around in. Instead, players will have to unlock cutscenes and the occasional fight that explain the new narrative.

To unlock these scenes and fights, players will have to earn Memoria by winning online battles. There’s about an hour or two’s worth of content in the Story mode, so players will have to grind a bit if they want to see the entire thing. That said, players can still keep battling even after they have all of what Dissidia Final Fantasy NT’s story has to offer.

Due to the way the story is unlocked, however, it’ll likely take you far longer than that to finally see the credits roll. The better you are at the game, the faster you’ll unlock Memoria and more of the story. But, as far as how long the actual story content is, you’re looking between an hour or two.

Aside from the updated storyline, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT also has a wide range of new features. Square Enix also plans to include more characters and costumes in the planned season pass. For more tips and tricks on the fighting game, be sure to check our comprehensive wiki.
