How to Perform Bravery Attacks & What They Do in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT

A brand new Dissidia game has arrived on PS4 with Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, and it pits two teams of three against each other in some incredibly over-the-top Final Fantasy battles. Battles are a little more complicated than your typical fighting game, and you might find yourself confused on how to damage enemies when you first hop into a match. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT uses the same system that past games have, splitting your attacks into two different types – Bravery and HP.

Bravery attacks are mapped to the X button on your DualShock 4, and simply pressing it will execute a quick combo. Each character in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT has their own unique attacks and you have three combos mapped to just X, X+up, and X+back/down. Additionally, your three attacks will be different while in the air as well. Every player in a match starts with a stock of 1,000 BP (Bravery Points). Hitting an enemy with a Bravery attack saps them of their BP and grants it to you. If you run out of BP you go into a break mode, and the enemy that broke you is granted a huge boost to their BP.

Your stock of BP translates directly into the amount of damage you inflict with an HP attacks. This means that the bulk of your actions are going to be made up of doing these attacks, and then trying to land an HP attack when you get a chance. Although it depends on the characters, Bravery attacks are generally much easier to land than HP attacks.

That’s all you need to know about Bravery attacks in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT. For more tips and guides on the game, make sure to check out our comprehensive wiki.
