Diablo 2 Resurrected: Can You Increase Inventory Size? Answered

The original Diablo 2 was released back in 2000, and Blizzard’s finally bringing it back for PC and modern consoles in the form of Diablo 2 Resurrected. This re-release features a full graphical overhaul making the game look extremely pretty, but the core gameplay mechanics and systems are still intact, which should be good news for purists and longtime fans. There have been a few quality-of-life improvements as well, though you may soon find that they’re not quite enough. If you’re wondering whether you can increase your inventory size in Diablo 2 Resurrected, here’s what you need to know.

Can You Increase Inventory Size in Diablo 2 Resurrected?

The short answer is, no. You cannot increase your inventory size in Diablo 2 Resurrected; you’re stuck with the same number of item slots you got at the start, and you’ll have to make do with that for the entire game. However, there are some measures you can take to alleviate the inventory management problem.

First off, while your personal inventory is still really small, the stash size in Diablo 2 Resurrected has been increased, giving you a 10×10 grid to work with. In addition to the personal stash, you also get three shared tabs that are also 10×10, so you’ll have a lot of space to work with whenever you come back to the Rogue Encampment.

We definitely recommend that you make frequent trips back to the camp to dump items that you don’t need in your personal inventory to free up some space, or just sell them if you no longer have any use for them.

In addition to that, once you get the Horadric Cube later on in the game, you’ll also be able to deposit items in there, which will help with your inventory management in the game. But aside from that, there are no inventory upgrades to unlock or purchase, so you’ll need to be careful about what you carry on you at all times, especially since potions and items don’t stack.

That’s all you need to know about whether you can increase your inventory size in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
