Destruction Allstars: How to Emote

You’ll do well to find a modern multiplayer game in which you don’t have the option to show off a little. Getting your character of choice to wave their hands in the air or salute to an opponent is somewhat commonplace now. If you’re looking to give out a little wave when you wreck someone, here’s everything you need to know about how to emote in Destruction Allstars.

Each character has four emotes they can have active at any one time. They can be whatever you set them as (we’ll get to how you change them later on) and will be anything from a thumbs up to a wave from the top of a car.

How to Emote in Destruction Allstars

All you need to do is press one of the four d-pad buttons on your DualSense controller to emote in Destruction Allstars, whether you’re on foot or driving a car.

Thankfully, you can set what action is tied to each of the four buttons. If you head to the main menu and select Customize at the button of the list, you can find what emotes are currently set to each button.

If you select the character you want to use there and use R1 to scroll across to either Emotes or Vehicle Emotes, you’ll see everything that you’ve unlocked for them, or unlock new options if you’d like to.

If you press X on the emote you’d like to have active, you will get the chance to tie it to a specific button. You can have four active at any one time, but it’s nice to remember what button does what so that you’re not awkwardly doing multiple emotes at once in match.

That’s everything you need to know about how to emote in Destruction Allstars. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
