Daemon X Machina: How to Heal & Restore VP

Daemon X Machina has you going head-to-head with dangerous enemy AI and mechs, in tense fast-paced battles. No matter how much you avoid it your health, or VP, is going to take a hit at times, so you’ll need to know how to fix that. Here’s how to heal and restore VP in Daemon X Machina.

How to Heal & Restore VP in Daemon X Machina

As you face enemy AIs and especially other Arsenals you’ll constantly be taking damage. Before we get into how to heal, it is useful to note that you can help protect yourself from damage by using the Femto ability Shield.

This can be done by pressing up or down on the D-Pad until you select Shield.

Now, if you want to actually heal your VP you need to keep an eye out for recovery tanks dotted around the battlefield. These are massive tanks that glow blue, and you can also see them on your minimap as blue dots.

In order to heal destroy the tank and a blue sphere will appear. As long as you stand in the sphere your VP will recover at a constant clip, until the sphere disappears in roughly 30 seconds.

This is your main option of healing, and generally your only option. However, there are a couple other things you can do.

You can equip an Auxillary item that will let you launch one of those same healing fields, but in order to get that item you’ll first need to pick it up from an Arsenal you’ve shot down.

In our playthrough we found it on an Arsenal in a B-Rank mission.

Your final option is to unlock the Repair skill in the arm skill tree. This ability is near the end of the tree and will cost 100,000 money.

After you’ve unlocked the skill, during battle you can press X to exit your Arsenal. Then, while standing near it hold down right on the D-Pad to repair your Arsenal.
