You’ll need to collect dozens of crafting materials to survive the gritty world of Conan Exiles. Crafting items and weapons requires all sorts of different materials, some of which aren’t particularly easy to find. Here’s how to get Brimstone in Conan Exiles.

Brimstone is an especially difficult material to farm, requiring you to venture into some tough locations to gather. Specifically, these locations are the Sinners’ refuge or at Gallaman’s tomb.

If you’re wanting to farm Brimstone in an area that isn’t quite as hazardous, though, you’ll want to head to a location in the eastern desert region of the map called the Dry Spring. To find Brimstone in this location you’ll need to mine into sulfur rock. Unfortunately, sulfur rock emits a toxic gas that will quickly whittle down your health.

You can actually collect several pieces of Brimstone before dying from the poison, but it’s not exactly ideal. The preferred method of farming in this area is by equipping the filter mask. This can be crafted at an armorer’s bench with x1 Light Helmet Padding and x30 steel bars.

Whether or not you choose to craft the mask (we recommend you do), you’ll simply need to hit the sulfur pillars with your pickaxe to collect the material. Brimstone just looks like a yellowish rock, in case you weren’t sure.
