How to Quickscope in CoD WW2

Recommended Videos

Being able to quickscope is one of the more useful skills to have if you intend on being a sniper in CoD WW2. The Mountain Division is best for this kind of play style, though you should be able to pull it off reliably with any Division you want to play as long as you have a sniper rifle in CoD WW2.

First off, if you’re new to the quickscope world, weapon sway is the primary factor you should be aware of. It can be extremely difficult to land an accurate shot via quickscoping if you’re moving because of the way your weapon sways back and forth while you’re moving. This also means that it’s much easier to pull off a quickscope shot when you’re stationary than when you’re on the move. If you have to do it while moving, however, you’ll need to take some time practicing and getting used to countering the weapon sway by aiming slightly to the left or right (depending on which direction the weapon sways to) when you take the shot.

Without aiming down the sights, you’ll want to try to line your target up in the middle of the crosshairs on your screen. Try to get your target right in the middle of the four lines, and then quickly aim down the sights and shoot. If you’re playing as a Mountain character in CoD WW2, try to aim down the sights and hold your breath at the same time before taking the shot. This will give you added aim assist, and ensure that your bullet flies straight, assuming that you’re completely stationary when you quickscope.

To improve your quickscope skills in CoD WW2, consider using attachments like Rapid Fire and Full Metal Jacket as well to increase your accuracy, and make it easier to fire off more shots with lesser downtime. Before you test your skills in CoD WW2’s multiplayer modes, you can also get some practice at the firing range in the Headquarters social space, or set up a custom match with bots to see how reliably you can pull off a quickscoped shot.
