Wondering how to restore HP and heal your health in Bravely Default 2? In this guide, we’ll run you through everything you need to know to do just that.
Healing Health in Bravely Default 2
There are a few ways you can heal your party of characters as you make your way through the game. We’ve listed these for you down below:
Consuming Potions
Players can use Potions and Hi-Potions to heal any HP that they lose in battle. These can be purchased at stores, or found in chests laying around the world that you find on your adventure.
Press X to bring up the menu and then go to ‘Items.’ From here, choose the item you want to use, and the character you want to use it on. You’ll now recover the amount of HP that the Potion or Hi-Potion grants.
These can also be used in battle by choosing the Items option when it’s your turn.
Using Job Abilities
Alternatively, if you’ve not got any consumables to-hand, you can always use your character’s job abilities to heal your health in Bravely Default 2.
Several jobs have healing abilities that cost MP. These are as follows:
- White Mage – Cure, Cura, Curaga
- Freelancer – Treat (Restores a bit of HP and MP)
- Spiritmaster – Healthbringer (Summons a spirit to restore a bit of health to the entire party for two turns)
As long as you’ve got the MP spare and one of these job types in your party, then these are a great way to quickly restore HP when you’re in a tight spot.
Keep in mind that some job abilities, such as Curaga, will require you to level up the White Mage job to unlock it. In the meantime, you’ll have Cure (and eventually Cura) for all your HP-restoring needs.
That’s everything you need to know on healing your health in Bravely Default 2. For more tips, tricks and guides, head on over to our wiki, search for Twinfinite, or check out more of our coverage on the game below.
