How to Save Your Game in Bloodborne
Bloodborne is a PS4 exclusive title by From Software, and features a number of Souls-like elements. Bloodborne features a very aggressive auto-save system, and every little thing you do in the game will be recorded. However, there is a safe way to quit the game whenever you want to stop playing.
First off, you can save your game anywhere you want. Press the Options button on your controller, use the d-pad to select the System option, then choose the option that says Exit Game. This will bring you back to Bloodborne’s main menu immediately. Whenever you want to continue the game, just select Continue from the main menu and you’ll be back in.
You could also quit the game straight from your PS4’s home screen, but advise against doing this as it could potentially corrupt your save file and make it unplayable. Do note that the save system can’t be abused, meaning if you accidentally pour all your Blood Echoes into Skill, you can’t simply undo that by quitting and loading the game. The game saves every little thing you do, so make sure you think carefully before doing anything too major.
