How to Check Combat Record in Black Ops 4

Recommended Videos

Black Ops 4 players have been waiting a long time to be able to check their combat record, and now the feature is finally available. Unfortunately, it’s not quite what many had in mind. Instead of being accessible in-game, you’ll need to refer to a companion App to review the information. It’s not ideal, but it does work. Here’s how to check your combat record in Black Ops 4.

For the uninitiated, the Combat Record features stats on individual weapons and weapon categories, specialist weapons, equipment, and special issue equipment, scorestreaks, maps by mode, and attachments across all weapons.

As of right now, the record doesn’t seem to show how players rank on a global scale. It only compares stats to other players on your friend list. This is causing a bit of controversy, so we expect that to change moving forward.

How to Download the Companion App

To download the App, search for ‘Call of Duty Companion’ on either the iOS or Google Play store and then log in with a linked gamer account or your Activision/Call of Duty account.

How to Check Your Combat Record

From the ‘Home’ menu, access the ‘Player’ tab, then ‘Combat record.’

From here, you can actually choose which game and mode you want to review stats for. The App covers your progress in other Call of Duty games as well as Black Ops 4, but if you’d like review stats for, say, Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode, highlight those two options from the picklist.

You can then scroll down the page to review stats from the ‘Overall Usage’ section. Here, you’ll see what your top performing items and scorestreaks are.

Checking Your Recent Record in Black Ops 4

The ‘Recent Matches’ section shows how you fared in your five most recent matches. Tap ‘View Matches’ to view more details about your recent matches. Tap any match to take a deep dive into your individual matches.

Checking Stats

Combat Record also offers sections displaying your Weekly and Lifetime stats. Tap ‘View More’ next to either to access a more detailed overview of your stats. You can also use the picklist at the top as a filter to display stats in any game mode or while playing with a certain Division or Specialist.

That should be all the information you need about how to check your combat record in Black Ops 4.For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to check out our wiki page.
