Crimson Red Coat
Dante’s keeping up with the times and has changed his outfit in Devil May Cry 5. He isn’t the young devil hunter we all knew, and it reflects through his new outfit. While his wine-colored coat definitely looks snazzy, some DMC fans might still prefer his crimson jacket instead.
Unfortunately, his iconic outfit isn’t it in the game, but you can add it in with this Devil May Cry 5 mod. As the name implies, Crimson Red Coat gives Dante his original outfit. It’s a clear callback to his younger self, and the mod is just oozing with nostalgia factor.

DS4/Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Button Layout
If you’re playing on PC, chances are you’re using your traditional keyboard and mouse setup to get by. Others might prefer to use a controller, whether its a standard PC controller or a DualShock 4. While most controllers will get the job done, Devil May Cry 5 only follows the Xbox One button layout.
It can get pretty confusing when you’re using your Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4 controller, considering you’ll have to memorize the different button prompts.
Luckily, this Devil May Cry 5 mod swaps out the button prompts for you, switching between either the DualShock 4 or Nintendo Switch Pro Controller inputs depending on what you’re using. With this mod installed, you won’t have to rely on guesswork to get things done.

Vergil EX
Just like the Crimson Red Coat mod, Vergil EX does something pretty similar for Dante’s twin. Instead of keeping his clothes from Devil May Cry 5, Vergil swaps into his classic blue clothes instead.
The mod doesn’t touch any other facial or cosmetic features, so you’re still stuck with his old version. Still, his original costume does have the same nostalgic factor, similar to Dante’s red coat. For those who prefer Vergil’s original outfit, you really can’t go wrong with this mod.

Playable Vergil
While Dante’s brother makes a big comeback in Devil May Cry 5, he isn’t a playable character. While there are some whispers of him becoming playable, nothing’s really set in stone until Capcom confirms it. Until then, there’s really no official way to play as Vergil.
If you’re a huge Vergil fan who really just wants to play as him, you can download this mod. Playable Vergil does exactly what it states, swapping out V or Dante’s model with Vergil’s. That said, he doesn’t have any of his own attacks and merely acts as a skin for the character. You won’t be able to pull off any of his iconic moves, but don’t let that stop you from letting you finally play as him in Devil May Cry 5.

Devil Breaker Monkey Business
Each character in Devil May Cry 5 has their own unique weapons and quirks. For Nero, it’s his interchangeable arms known as Devil Breakers. This powerful weapon lets him pull off all sorts of handy tricks on the battlefield, and he can even switch between different arms as well.
While you can unlock most of the Devil Breakers in the game, some are locked behind DLC. The Monkey Business Devil Breaker is a Japanese Amazon exclusive, so chances are that you and a handful of other different players couldn’t get it.
Mods are always here to save the day, however, so you won’t have to worry about missing out. This Monkey Business mod adds the funky Devil Breaker in Devil May Cry 5, complete with all of its useful effects. This isn’t just a cosmetic weapon, as it’s completely functional with its own abilities.
