Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Sekiro is quite a departure from the kind of games Activision usually publish. Developed by FromSoftware, it’s a pretty hardcore action adventure games that’s along the same lines as the likes of Dark Souls and Bloodborne.
For Shadows Die Twice though, the setting is now late 16th century Sengoku period Japan and follows your character as they attempt to get revenge on a samurai clan.
It’s tough, so you’ll likely be frustrated by the parry based gameplay if you’re used to this type of game, but it’s a lot of fun if you can get to grips with it.
As we said in our review, “Sekiro is a game that relishes in its ability to challenge and punish the player with little to no room for error. The developer’s methods of storytelling may start to feel a tad stale at this point, but the game still manages to capture that immense feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment like no other.”
