Dlala Studios is working with Rare to bring back one of the ’90s most lauded brawlers, Battletoads. You’ll be able to work together with two other friends to help bring the toads back to the fame they once held. It won’t be easy, though, so you’re going to need to know how to heal up when you get hurt. Here is everything you need to know about how to heal health in Battletoads.
The first thing that needs to be said about healing in Battletoads is that it’ll vary depending on the difficulty you play at. You’ll have more opportunities to heal and use invincibility on easier difficulties.
However, if you’re playing on the Battletoads difficulty, you’ll have fewer opportunities to heal. Alongside this, enemy attacks deal more damage, so you’ll get injured way easier.
Now that you know the nuances of healing in Battletoads, let’s go over how to actually heal.
How to Heal Health in Battletoads
When you’ve taken damage in battle, there are two ways to heal.
The first is to eat flies why they pop up in the area. All you have to do to eat a fly is press LT, aim at the one you want to eat, and then click Y.
Eating flies restores a bit of your health at a time, so you may need to eat multiple. Flies only pop up every now and then, so be sure to take advantage of them and share the wealth when they do.
Reviving Teammates
The other way to heal health is by reviving other players. While this can be done in single player in some instances, this is mostly for multiplayer.
When one player is downed, head over to them and a prompt to revive them appears. Press LB, and they’ll come back with a portion of their health.
That is everything you need to know about how to heal in Battletoads. Check out the rest of Twinfinite if you still have any lingering questions or concerns.
