How to Build Large Storage in Astroneer

Recommended Videos

As you explore the frontiers of 25th century outer space in Astroneer, you’re going to need to build a variety of different vehicles, attachments, and items in order to continue your adventure and gain all those precious materials. Large and extra large storage are, for obvious reasons, the best storage solutions you can get in Astroneer, but there are some caveats to building them. Here’s what you need to know to build large and extra large storage in Astroneer.

First off, you’ll need to make sure that you have the Bytes to research either of the storage options that you’re after in the game. These can be purchased from the Research Chamber, if you’re unsure of how to do this. Once you’ve researched the storage, you’ll then need to go to the Vehicle Bay and craft it from there. Keep in mind that if you’re building extra large storage, you’ll need to make an extra large platform, move it to the vehicle bay, and then print the extra large storage on top of it.

That’s all you need to know to build these larger storage options in Astroneer. For more on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
