England is littered with all sorts of secret locations to uncover, but sometimes the puzzles are a little obtuse. That’s why we’ve put together this quick guide on the Monk’s Lair Key location in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for those struggling to work out how to unlock the nearby chest.
Where to Find the Monk’s Lair Key in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Unlocking the chest inside the Monk’s Lair requires you to complete the nearby world event called “A Prayer for Vengence,” which is indicated by the blue orb just to the east. This is actually where the key is located, and where you’ll run into the monk himself.
First things first, travel east toward the blue orb until you see the tomb. Eivor will immediately notice that somebody has been inside recently, but accessing it will require you to shift the obstacle blocking the door. This is as simple as going around the back, looking through the window, and shooting out the wooden box that is stopping you from pushing it.
With the box destroyed you can return to the other side and push the object out of the way. Now head inside and collect the key, but beware of the monk. Once you leave the tomb he will pursue you, so you’ll need to take him out. He’s not too tough, but he’s also not a pushover either unless you’re a particularly high power level.
With the monk dead you can now visit the Monk’s Lair and unlock the chest to grab the Nickle Ingot.
And that’s everything there is to know about where the Monk’s Lair Key location is in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to check out Twinfinite’s guide wiki.
