It’s been two years since we’ve had an Assassin’s Creed game, but that’s changed with the release of Assassin’s Creed Origins, a new direction for the series. Origins does just what it says, telling an origin story for both the series and the Assassin Brotherhood. Even though the game is set much earlier than any entry yet, taking place in Ancient Egypt, there’s a few staples you can expect to be present. Nothing in the Assassin’s Creed series is quite as iconic as the Hidden Blade, and yes you’ll still get to use one in Origins. You might be a little confused at first though, as you don’t immediately have access to the weapon. Here’s how you get it.

Luckily you don’t need to worry about missing the Hidden Blade in Assassin’s Cred Origins. It’s something that you’ll get automatically, after a while of following the main story of the game. You’ll need to play the game up until Bayek goes to Alexandria, where you’ll be given the weapon. Once it’s in your possession, you’re free to use it on as many enemies as you see fit.
