How to Get More Active Abilities in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey brings the same style of systems and exploration to the series that Origins introduced in 2017. This time, however, players are transported to Ancient Greece where they’ll need to contend with different factions, and even a few mythological creatures. While the game uses the same hit box-based combat as Origins, there are a few changes. This includes the addition of something called active abilities. We’ll help explain exactly what they are and how to get more active abilities in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Active abilities are exactly what they sound like. They’re abilities that you can assign Alexios or Cassandra to use during battle. These include abilities like a Multi-Shot with your bow that targets up to four enemies at once. You can equip four melee and four ranged abilities at any given time. However, the classes of this new game definitely have more abilities to get. There’s a wide array of different abilities to unlock in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. They help provide more depth to combat than what was present in Origins.
To get more active abilities in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you’ll first need to level up by completing the main story, side quests, taking down outposts, or anything else that rewards XP. Each time you level up, you’ll be rewarded an ability point. You can then use them in the ability menu to unlock new abilities and essentially get more active abilities in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. In the menu, you can set active abilities to the face button, again with four melee and four ranged. Mix and match new abilities as you get them in Odyssey to see what you might like best.
That’s everything you need to know about how to get more active abilities in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. For even more tips, tricks, and guides make sure to check out our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey guide wiki.
