While like the Hemlock the Prowler has a default burst fire-rate, it shoots with five rounds instead of three. It also has a better movement and reload speed compared to the Hemlock.

But the best perk of all comes when you find a Selectfire Receiver Hop-Up and switch to Auto-Fire, turning this gun from a decent choice to one of the most devastating weapons in the game.

If the Prowler was a default Auto-Fire weapon, it would likely make it to into the top five of best weapons in the entire game. However, it lands in the middle of our list as it’s true power truly rests with you finding a Hop-Up to really take it to that next level.
