Attackers

In Ace Combat 7 planes are categorized into three different classes. The Attacker role is focused on ground combat as their primary role. Generally these lanes have a high defense and stability which suits them better for getting in low to attack ground units. They are less mobile and agile compared to the other classes.

  • A-10A Thunderbolt II
  • F-2A
  •  Su-34 Fullback

Fighters

Fighters are the second class of planes found in Ace Combat 7. These planes are designed primarily to dogfight other planes in the dangerous skies. They have a higher speed, mobility, and air-to-air capability than Attackers and Multirole planes. What they can in speed and mobility they lack in stability and defense so there is certainly a trade-off.

Here is every Fighter class plane playable in Ace Combat 7 in the order they appear (left to right) in the pictures below.

Multirole

The Multirole class is designed to be decent at fighting both air and land enemies. Stat wise these planes dont excel in any one area, but rather are good all around. It’s a great pick for any mission that requires a mix of land and air enemies to clear. Multirole’s have slightly less speed ad mobility than fighters, but more stability and defense. They fit that middle role perfectly and are well balanced to get the job done.

Here is every Multirole class plane in the order they appear (left to right) in the pictures below.

  • F-104C Starfighter
  • F-15E Strike Eagle
  • F-35C Lightning II
  • F/A-18F Super Hornet
  • MiG-29A Fulcrum
  • Mirage 2000-5
  • Rafale M
  • Su-30SM
