Oblivion

True to Elder Scrolls tradition, Oblivion starts the player out as a prisoner of an unexplained crime. After getting harassed by your good friend across the hall, the Emperor himself shows up trying to escape assassination. Once he realizes your fates are intertwined, however, he trusts you with the key to saving the world. This is what makes Oblivion’s intro so much more memorable than the other Elder Scrolls games, the fact that it actually puts you into the action and makes you a pivotal piece in stopping the growing evil in the world.
