Yes, EA is releasing yet another new game pack for The Sims 4 that brings magic, wizards, and basically everything that’s in Harry Potter… but Sim-ified. There’s a bunch of new stuff coming to The Sims 4 by way of the Realm of Magic game pack, so let’s talk about everything you need to know.

Release Date

The Sims 4: Realm of Magic will be available to play on Sep. 10 for PC and Mac. As for console players, Realm of Magic will be released on Oct. 15.

If Realm of Magic costs the same as the other packs like Strangerville and Jungle Adventure, you can expect for the pack to cost about $19.99.

Town of Glimmerbrook

Glimmerbrook is a new magical town that will act as the prime destination for the new game pack in The Sims 4. It’s an unreal and enchanted world full of mysteries and magic.

You’ll be able to cast spells on other Sims, brew potions, ride around on your broomstick, and interact with strange objects and familiars around the world.

New Wardrobe

You can’t have a new game pack for The Sims 4 without bringing in a bunch of new outfit options for your characters, right? To celebrate the witchiness of the new expansion, expect to see lots of changes.

EA is bringing robes, cloaks, celestial dresses, wizarding accessories, and much more to the table in Realm of Magic so that your Sim can dress the part and fit in with the other magical players.

There will also be new items for your home so that you can decorate your living space with all sort of enchanted objects. You probably won’t find a Sorting Hat, but just imagine stuff like that taking over your bedroom.

Be a True Wizard

Just like in that picture that you see above, you will be able to use your magic wand to duel with other people in Realm of Magic.

By using the help from your protector (who can take the form of a dragon, fairy, or familiar), you can become a powerful spellcaster.

You can even use your magic knowledge and use a cauldron to cook up some potions that be used to conjure food, objects, or even make people fall in love or live forever.

The Sims 4: Realm of Magic launches on Sep. 10, 2019.
