Animal Crossing Mobile
It’s no secret that Nintendo has gotten a taste for the mobile market so it should come as no surprise if they decide to bring over more of their properties. Given that Fire Emblem Heroes was just announced at the last Nintendo Direct there is little doubt that they are willing to put out some of their lesser known names for mobile gaming. Given the Animal Crossing series is all about building a community, making friends, and climbing out of crippling debt, it seems tailor made for phones. Games like Fallout Shelter were massive successes thanks to their simplistic, yet addictive game design. If Nintendo follows Bethesda’s lead when it comes to creating a base building-esque game, then they’ll certainly produce another hit.
Yet, they do need to watch out when it comes to pricing, as Super Mario Run didn’t shell out the impressive numbers that many suspected. This clearly hasn’t detracted Nintendo from continuing to release mobile games, however, so don’t be surprised if you see more of their famous franchises jump ship. After all, who doesn’t want to have Tom Nook hounding you endlessly with notifications about paying bills, right?
