Third-Party 3DS Series Perfect for the Switch
Cooking Mama is yet another prime example of a series that really was unique due to the touch screens of the DS and 3DS that could also gain a new identity on Switch. These adorable games task you with cooking different dishes assigned by, you guessed it, Mama. Depending on which title you’re playing, of course, the dishes that you’re making will be different, with everything from three course dinners to desserts and pastries. Now imagine how the Joy-Cons could play into these cooking minigames, using them to flip pancakes or stir a dish, and feeling the HD rumble respond to show you something is boiling.
Cooking Mama has seen countless entries on Nintendo’s past few handhelds, and with the focus shifting more towards the Switch moving forward, it seems likely we’ll see the series make the move.
