Best Marvel Universe TV Shows
11. Inhumans
While most of the Marvel TV series have at least some merits, the Inhumans is the only one that you can genuinely call a failure. After eight episodes, dismal reviews, and low ratings, the show was completely canceled by ABC.
As you might expect, the show adapts the comic series of the same name, focusing on the Inhuman Royal Family.
The species was first introduced in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Inhumans starts Black Bolt primarily, while also having a supporting cast of Medusa, Karnak, Gorgon, and more.
The biggest thing that led to the downfall of Inhuman’s was a general cheap feeling and design. Sets and costumes felt wholly uninspired, character writing felt flat and uninteresting, special effects were a mixed bag, and everything felt a little to close to a superhero soap opera.
In the end, the show just felt completely uninspired, simply trying to take advantage of the burgeoning Marvel Cinematic Universe. Clearly, that’s what led to its downfall.
