What You Need to Know About the Egg Launcher in Fortnite Battle Royale

As part of Fortnite Battle Royale’s 3.4 update today, players get a whole host of new goodies to play around with. Not only is there the whole shotgun color change, but we’ve got week 6 challenges to play through, a guided rocket launcher, and even an Egg Launcher, too. The Egg Launcher isn’t quite as new and exciting as you may have been hoping, though.

The Egg Launcher in Fortnite Battle Royale is a temporary reskin for the grenade launcher in the game. Aside from firing brightly colored Easter Eggs rather than grenades, there is nothing else different about it in terms of what it does. It does come in a Gold (Legendary) drop, though, which is pretty neat, but aside from that it’s just a fancy grenade launcher.

Exactly how long this seasonal skin will remain in Fortnite Battle Royale remains to be seen. However, as this is a seasonal item, we’d expect it to revert back to being a plain ol’ grenade launcher after next Thursday’s patch (April 5).

That’s all you need to know about the Egg Launcher in Fortnite Battle Royale. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
