How to Play Sienna in Warhammer Vermintide 2

Recommended Videos

Warhammer Vermintide 2 lets players choose from five character classes, each with their own strengths and unique skills. One particular class is known as the Battle Wizard, played by a heroine called Sienna. She’s an excellent long-ranged fighter who rains death down on her foes with powerful fiery spells.

Sienna’s definitely one of the more difficult heroes to figure out, but she comes with a huge payoff if you learn how to use her. The Battle Wizard comes with two unlockable classes, Pyromancer at level 7 and Unchained at level 12.

Her normal Battle Wizard form excels at keeping her enemies at bay with her spells. Sienna has career skills with a wide range and even leaves fire in her wake, making it perfect for taking down groups of enemies. Similarly, you can also use the skill when escaping from monsters if ever they get too close. It’s also worth giving her a beam staff as a weapon since it deals decent damage and doesn’t overcharge you as much. The staff is also great for keeping enemies at bay, which is something you’ll want to focus on.

Her Pyromancer form in Warhammer Vermintide 2, on the other hand, grants her a passive skill called “Critical Mass” that rewards you with extra ranged damage along with a higher critical strike chance depending on your overcharge meter. Meanwhile, her career skill has been replaced with a missile that automatically seeks out targets and deal damage in a large area. You definitely can’t go wrong by picking Pyromancer, especially with her amped up career skill. That said, you should still focus on keeping distance between you and the enemy, so the beam staff is definitely worth keeping.

Finally, Sienna’s Unchained class increases her melee attack on high overcharge, reduces block on overcharge, transfers 50 percent of damage taken to overcharge, and cancels overcharge slowdown. Her new career skill lets her charge up energy and explode, dealing heavy damage to enemies. This class is much more geared towards physical combat, so you can give her some rapid melee weapons, such as double daggers.
