How to Beat Nazgul Easily in Middle-earth Shadow of War
At several points in Shadow of War, you’re attacked by the dreaded Ringwraiths. These demented creatures are wraithlike in appearance, and their abilities are even reminiscent of Celebrimbor’s. They can make a tough opponent, especially since you’ll usually be facing more than one of them at a time. The Nazgul like to attack in tandem, so you have to pay attention, or they’ll end up overwhelming you quickly.
Strategy on How to Beat the Nazgul and Ringwraiths
You’ll face the Nazgul several times during Shadow of War’s campaign, but they’ll attack similarly every time. The first thing you need to do is forget about going on the offensive. The last thing you want to do is get interrupted during an attack by four foes slicing into you. Instead of attacking, you need to defend as much as possible. Doing that is simple though, all you have to do is watch for the prompts.
Nazgul typically have two types of attack, one that you must roll out of the way of, and one that you can counter. As long as you successfully avoid or counter-attack, you can move in and get a few blows in. The real danger in fighting Ringwraiths comes from their ability to teleport. Although you can counter one of their teleport sword swings if you pay attention for the prompt, there is very little choreographing before they zip from the opposite side of the area right into your face.
Once the Nazgul shows the Broken symbol over their heads in Shadow of War, you can banish them by using your drain move. When the meter is full, Talion will remove them from combat. The more Nazgul you remove from battle in Shadow of War, the easier it becomes.
