Planetside 2 PS4 Beta Launches Later This Month

If you’ve been waiting to get into the PS4 beta for Planetside 2, you’ll be pleased to hear that you’ll only have to wait another two weeks. Sony Entertainment Online has revealed the Planetside 2 beta will start with a couple thousand players on January 20. Future player waves will be added as the period progresses. Sign-ups are still open, but selection will take chronologically related to when you signed up. You can sign up for registration here.

Worried about not being able to play Planetside 2 because you don’t have PS+? Never fear, as the game is free to play on PC and PS4, so you can play regardless of whether or not you have a subscription. Remote play on the Vita and touch integration will arrive with Planetside 2’s launch later this year. Sign-ups for the beta are still open, but selection will take chronologically related to when you signed up.
