I have believed only in my sword. There are no friends, no family, no hometown to return to-the lonely swordfighter Guts travels as a mercenary in the land swayed by the Hundred Years War. Guts who can freely control a long sword that exceeds his height and easily defeat powerful enemies.

Griffith, who leads the mercenary group “Hawk Group”, noticed him. With leadership unimaginable from his beautiful appearance and great ambitions, Griffith conquers Guts in a duel and pulls him into a hawk corps to make his dream come true. Friends who are connected with trust as they go through many fierce battles together.

Above all, the bond between Griffith and Guts was now special. Eventually, the hawk corps rises to the regular army of the Kingdom of Midland, but that is only the first step towards the pinnacle of Griffith. Guts, meanwhile, begins to question his life, being taken in by Griffith’s “dream” and wielding his sword. But Guts doesn’t know yet. The terrifying fate that the endless dreams gave them.
