Destiny 2: How to Fix Parsley Error Code

Destiny 2’s Parsley Error Code is a bit of an unusual one, primarily because there’s not a whole lot known about it, even from Bungie themselves. In this guide, we’ll be running you through all the information there is to know about it, and the steps you can take to fix it.

What Is the Parsley Error Code?

Unfortunately, even Bungie’s help page itself doesn’t share much about what causes the Parsley error. It states:

“Bungie is actively tracking this general networking error. Your disconnect was reported the moment it occurred. If you continue to receive this error, please consider following the suggestions in the Network Troubleshooting Guide.”

Fixing Parsley Error in Destiny 2

There are a few different things you can try to rectify the error code when it arises.

First and foremost, you’ll want to check the Destiny 2 server status to ensure it’s not being caused by an issue on Bungie’s end.

If everything’s clear over there, you’ll want to next try either setting up a wired connection to your router, or if you’re already wired up, try a wireless connection.

In most cases, having a wired connection will provide a faster and more stable internet connection to your console or PC, ensuring you don’t have any connection interruptions when accessing the Destiny 2 servers.

If all of this fails, you’ll next want to try reducing network congestion by disconnecting other devices from your router. This can help improve the connection of your speed, ensuring a more stable connection to the game’s servers.

Finally, you’ll want to dive into some more advanced troubleshooting issues like UPnP, Port Forwarding, and changing NAT Types. Bungie has a handy guide to run you through each of these on its Network Troubleshooting Guide Directory.
